Basic Principles of Numerology

1. The basic numbers range from 1 to 9, while those from 10 to 65 are compound numbers.
2. The numbers 1 to 9 are used in numerology by which all our calculations are made according to Pythagoras.
3. All double numbers can be reduced to a single digit by summing them from left to right.
4. Each letter or alphabet corresponds to a particular numeric value. The birthday number is nothing but the number that is derived from one's date of birth.
For eg. A person born on 28th of any month will have his birthday number as 1 (2+8= 10 that reduces to 1). The birthday or the single number forms the core for numerological predictions. Each alphabet or letter corresponds to a a particular numerical value. Adding the values gives birth to various other numbers. Destiny number is the sum total of all numerical values assigned to the alphabets used in full name.

For eg . if the name is Ajay Singh , you calculate the number as

: add all these together (which comes to 40) and reduce it to a single digit (which is 4 here ). If you do not reduce the Destiny number to a single digit & add the Birth number to it and whatever result also you get , dont reduce it to a single digit. The two digit number that you will get is the compound number. Compound number relates to an additional streak in individual's character.In the above example if Ajay singh was born on 5th of any month , his compound number will be 40+5 = 45. Heart Number & the Personality number are derived from the name only.
Calculation of numerical values attached to all the vowels in the name give the heart number & Calculation of numerical values attached to all the consonants of the name give the Personality Number.
In the case of Ajay Singh, the vowels are A A I 1 1 9 = ( 11) = (1+1) = 2 - Heart Number & Consonants are J Y S N G H 1 7 1 5 7 8 = (29) = (2+9) = (11) = (1+1) = 2 -- Personality Number.
